Proliferation
Cell proliferation can be measured easily with Cell-IQ®. Prepared cells are placed in the integrated incubator and imaged automatically at regular intervals providing you with kinetic data for your experiment.
Analysis of cell populations may require more than just confluency rates to be measured. Quantification of the number of live, dead and dividing cells will provide a better insight into the cellular health than % confluency or just total cell number counts versus time. This additional data is easily extracted from the phase contrast image series or if preferred, cells may be transfected or live cell dyes used for identification and quantification via fluorescence imaging.
